Sunday February 21. 2010
....Hanani had an acting class yesterday taught by Michael Testa.  He is the casting director for Cold Case.  There were about 15-20 students in the class and Hanani was the youngest by far.  Others were 20's on up to 54 years of age.
Michael wasn't expecting someone Hanani's age and didn't really want her to participate because some of the other sides weren't suitable for her age, but he gave her a less racy side to do anyway.  Six others had the same side that she did.  They were given the side and not told what it was about or what it was from.
They let the other actors in the room one by one to do the scene.  They didn't see the ones that went before them.  Hanani was the 5th out of six.  She had to interpret the scene and then do it. When Hanani came in, she immediately launched into the "evil bitch from hell."  It was amazing.  Michael Testa read with her and he was so surprised.  He said that Hanani's interpretation and performance was the best out of everybody.  He wanted to keep her headshot.  All of the other actors congratulated her.  Nobody expected that out of her...the youngest person in the room by far.  She had another class last Monday with an acting coach, Carnetta Jones.  Look her up on Google. Carnetta also said that Hanani was exceptional. Hanani is really good... even by Hollywood standards. Your coaching is why! The Richard Mason method works!!!! (-:
